Temporary Student Intern with a Work with a large, mission-driven public agency<\/strong> that supports essential water, environmental, and infrastructure services for a major metropolitan region<\/i><\/p>\n

Duration: 960 Hours in a fiscal year
Work Schedule: Part-Time: 15\/hrs+ per week

Role Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n

Workforce Development Intern within Human Resources, supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of employee development programs. The role focuses on learning program operations, creating learning\/marketing content, analyzing training data, and contributing to workforce capability-building initiatives.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Support Workforce Development programs, tools, and initiatives<\/p>\n

Create marketing and communication materials (flyers, newsletters, toolkits, surveys, invitations)<\/p>\n

Analyze training data and generate reports with insights and recommendations<\/p>\n

Research learning tools, training content, and external resources<\/p>\n

Identify and implement process improvements (e.g., workflow organization, trackers)<\/p>\n

Assist in planning and execution of training sessions, including classroom training<\/p>\n

Contribute to employee development and learning initiatives across the organization<\/p>\n

Required Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (any discipline)<\/p>\n

Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills<\/p>\n

Organized, self-starter with a willingness to learn<\/p>\n

Ability to engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders<\/p>\n

Interest in people development \/ learning & development<\/p>\n

Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience creating marketing or communication materials<\/p>\n

Familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite<\/p>\n

Exposure to photography, videography, or video editing<\/p>\n

Experience working with data analysis or reporting<\/p>\n

Interest or exposure to training, HR, or workforce development programs<\/p>\n

Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

Technical Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

Microsoft Office \/ Google Workspace (especially Sheets\/Excel for tracking & analysis)<\/p>\n

Basic data analysis and reporting skills<\/p>\n

Content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite \u2013 preferred)<\/p>\n

Familiarity with LMS or digital learning tools (nice to have)<\/p>\n

Research skills (online learning resources, training content curation)<\/p>\n
