During the program, candidates will develop technical\u00a0expertise\u00a0and earn Tesla certifications through a blended approach of in-class theory, hands-on labs, and field-based learning. Candidates will strengthen their soft skills through team-based diagnostic and repair practices. Upon graduation, you will be providing service to all commercial Semi customers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dedicate a minimum of\u00a040 hours\u00a0per week to training, including active participation in\u00a0Semi\u00a0Service\u00a0Center shadowing for practical experience\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Engaging in instructor-led training to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Tesla Semi\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate within a team environment during both lab and lecture activities\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize safety by adhering to\u00a0established\u00a0protocols at all times\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Maintain organization by ensuring proper tooling management\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet weekly curriculum\u00a0objectives\u00a0and deadlines\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Uphold a consistent and professional rapport with instructors\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license required with ability to obtain and\u00a0maintain\u00a0a CDL\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or\u00a0designated\u00a0as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is\u00a0required\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Be capable of reporting to a START training location, and attend and pass each of the 12-week training sessions with an 80% or higher GPA\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to\u00a0relocate\u00a0upon successful completion of the program and accept employment at a Tesla Semi Service Center within\u00a030 days\u00a0of graduation from the program\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ability to\u00a0lift up\u00a0to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Must follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail with familiar understanding of the English language, basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work in a team-based environment, have a &#8220;safety first&#8221; attitude, and the ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation and Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Benefits<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a full-time Tesla Intern, you will be eligible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical plans &gt; plan options with $0 payroll deduction<\/li>\n<li>Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits<\/li>\n<li>Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans.
