Inspired by the legacy of Dr. Philip Jaisohn (Soh, Jai-Pil), the Foundation works to empower communities through advocacy, outreach programs, educational initiatives, health services, and leadership development opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking motivated college students interested in gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, administration, research, and community engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Summer Intern<\/p>\n<p>Internship Details<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: 4-week summer internship<\/li>\n<li>Schedule: Full-time<\/li>\n<li>Location: In-person<\/li>\n<li>Compensation: Paid<\/li>\n<li>Open to currently enrolled undergraduate students<\/li>\n<li>Flexible start date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Position Overview<\/p>\n<p>This internship provides students with hands-on experience working within a nonprofit organization while developing professional skills in administration, research, communication, project management, and community outreach. Interns will work closely with Foundation leadership and assist with day-to-day operations, scholarship initiatives, outreach efforts, and organizational projects.<\/p>\n<p>This opportunity is ideal for students interested in nonprofit management, healthcare administration, public administration, political science, communications, business, education, or related fields.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with administrative and organizational tasks<\/li>\n<li>Conduct online and community-based research projects<\/li>\n<li>Help manage spreadsheets, schedules, and internal documents<\/li>\n<li>Assist with event planning and community engagement initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Maintain organized digital and physical records<\/li>\n<li>Assist with outreach and communication efforts<\/li>\n<li>Participate in team meetings and collaborative projects<\/li>\n<li>Provide general operational support to Foundation staff members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently enrolled in a college or university<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior leadership, volunteer, or campus involvement experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience with social media, Canva, Excel, or research projects is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Interest in gaining experience in nonprofit operations and community outreach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What Interns Will Gain<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on professional experience in a nonprofit setting<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to nonprofit administration and project coordination<\/li>\n<li>Research and organizational skill development<\/li>\n<li>Networking and mentorship opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to contribute to meaningful community initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scholarship Program Information<\/p>\n<p>Please apply here: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/jaisohn.org\/scholarships\/\">https:\/\/jaisohn.org\/scholarships\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applicants for the Foundation\u2019s scholarship program must submit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cover Letter<\/li>\n<li>Resume<\/li>\n<li>School Transcript<\/li>\n<li>Letter of Recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Documented Evidence of Financial Need (for scholarships requiring financial need)<\/li>\n<li>One essay (600-word limit) responding to ONE of the following prompts:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What does Dr. Philip Jaisohn\u2019s (Soh, Jai-Pil\u2019s) \u201cKorea Independence Movement in America and His Advocacy Efforts\u201d mean to you, and how does it resonate with our community\u2019s current needs?<\/p>\n<p>What leadership characteristics do Dr. Philip Jaisohn and Rev.
