This is a permanent, full-time position where you will work closely with our orthopedic surgeons in providing comprehensive care to patients with various orthopedic conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic care. If you are passionate about patient care, have a keen eye for detail, and are able to make a quick, informed decisions, we would love to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide comprehensive orthopedic care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.<\/li>\n<li>Perform physical examinations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Assist physicians during orthopedic procedures such as total knee arthroplasties and total hip arthroplasties.<\/li>\n<li>Educate patients and their families on orthopedic care and treatment options.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and ensure the effective delivery of therapy and medication to patients.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in orthopedics and related medical fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and diagnosis.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and interpretation.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of critical care protocols and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of various ailments affecting diverse populations.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent data collection and analytical skills for patient management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. A Master&#8217;s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution<\/p>\n<p>2. Current certification as a PA<\/p>\n<p>3. Proven experience in orthopedic care<\/p>\n<p>4. Proficiency in interpreting X-rays, MRI&#8217;s and CT scans<\/p>\n<p>5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff<\/p>\n<p>6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment<\/p>\n<p>7. Strong commitment to patient care and a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of patients<\/p>\n<p>8. Active state licensure and DEA registration<\/p>\n<p>9.
