Founded in 1855, Southwestern Advantage is the oldest entrepreneurial program for college students. Utilizing a direct sales model, students sell educational resources to families through in-home consultations. This internship has helped over 100,000 students from 1,600+ campuses worldwide achieve their goals.<\/p>\n

Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Southwestern Advantage Sales Internship is an intensive 12\u201314 week summer program that provides hands-on experience in sales, marketing, public relations, and leadership. Participants engage in in person sales, shadow experienced representatives, and spend time with leaders to gain deep insights into building a successful sales career.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25aa Conduct product demonstrations using a consultative sales approach<\/p>\n

\u25aa Communicate effectively with families from diverse socio-economic backgrounds<\/p>\n

\u25aa Build lasting connections within assigned sales territories through direct in-home visits and strong customer rapport<\/p>\n

\u25aa Sell and market educational resources to families in designated territories<\/p>\n

\u25aa Manage all aspects of the business, including ordering, inventory tracking, sales recording, basic accounting, scheduling, and product delivery<\/p>\n

Following successful completion of the program, interns have the opportunity to move into a leadership role and further grow their career with Southwestern Advantage!<\/i><\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25aa High school diploma or equivalent.<\/p>\n

\u25aa Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented.<\/p>\n

\u25aa Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n

\u25aa Willingness to embrace new challenges and learn quickly.<\/p>\n

\u25aa Availability to work full-time during the summer.<\/p>\n

\u25aa Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and consistently work in outdoor weather conditions.<\/p>\n

\u25aa Enthusiasm for sales, marketing, and personal development.<\/p>\n
