Bowers Accountants &amp; Advisors is looking for highly motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented Interns who thrive in a fast-paced environment to join our Audit or Tax team for the Audit and Tax 2027 Internship Season!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tax internships are in the Spring season (Feb\/March timeframe &#8211; April 15th)<\/li>\n<li>Audit internships are in the Summer (May\/June timeframe &#8211; August)<\/li>\n<li>You can select the season(s) you prefer as you complete our application<\/li>\n<li>Bowers Accountants &amp; Advisors is not able to accommodate any type of Sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Be a part of our Audit or Tax team and learn the business of Audit or Tax<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Plan and prepare Audit services and Tax services as shared by our Audit and Tax Staff<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Collaborate with our Audit Staff and Tax Accountants for further support and learning tools<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Become familiar with and effectively utilize software in assigned areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Communicate concise and accurate project status updates<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Approach daily responsibilities with the Bowers\u2019 mission and client-centric philosophy in mind.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Learn about Audit and Tax processes and policies<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Strengthen written and verbal communication skills with colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Actively participate in firm outings and activities as able.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Active enrollment and a major in Accounting or Finance<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Preferably pursuing the 150-credit-hour academic requirement toward CPA eligibility<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bowers Accountants &amp; Advisors has 2027 internship opportunities in:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Syracuse, Rochester, Ithaca, and Watertown, NY.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bowers Accountants &amp; Advisors offers a dynamic and collaborative internship program.
