Interns will gain hands-on experience in field operations, including voter outreach, volunteer organizing, and event planning.<\/p>\n<p>This internship is ideal for high-school and college students, along with recent graduates, who are seeking practical experience and mentorship from campaign professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Interns have the opportunity to be considered for paid roles as the campaign grows. Participating in the internship program does not guarantee a paid position.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule and Availability<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Time commitment: 10-15 hours per week.<\/li>\n<li>Weekend and evening availability is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct voter outreach through phone and text banking.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately record voter responses using campaign software.<\/li>\n<li>Represent the campaign professionally.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with volunteer recruitment and training.<\/li>\n<li>Help plan and staff canvass launches, phone banks, and campaign events.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate team engagement activities.<\/li>\n<li>Perform additional duties as assigned.<br \/>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfortability engaging with voters.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior campaign experience.<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual or multilingual skills.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with NJ-12 (Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, and Union Counties).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Academic Credit and Professional Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic credit is available depending on your school\u2019s internship requirements.
