This is not a &#8220;coffee-run&#8221; internship. You will be on the front lines of digital storytelling for two very different audiences. You will learn how to pivot your voice, strategy, and content style between a high-energy fan community and a sophisticated professional network.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Core Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For Black Ink Events (Consumer\/Fan Facing)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Engagement-First Content:<\/strong> Schedule, deliver and engage with our &#8220;scroll-stopping&#8221; visual content (reels, graphics, and stories). \u00a0Develop engaging and exciting copy to entice the reader to action, that builds excitement for upcoming an-centric events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Community Management:<\/strong> Monitor and engage with fan communities, responding to comments and fostering a sense of &#8220;FOMO&#8221; around live event experiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trend Jacking:<\/strong> Identify and leverage current trends in pop culture, film, and media to keep the brand relevant and conversational with the team and maintain cohesion across all platforms including: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit and YouTube<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>For ProcurementCon (B2B &amp; Government Contracting)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Authority-Building Content:<\/strong> Assist in creating education-first content for LinkedIn and professional platforms, focusing on small business growth and the complexities of government contracting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Professional Networking:<\/strong> Help manage community outreach within the B2G (Business-to-Government) sector, engaging with industry leaders and procurement officers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Engaging Professionalism:<\/strong> Create strong copy that aligns with the brand and event graphics that translate complex industry data into digestible social &#8220;nuggets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Across Both Brands<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Analytics &amp; Reporting:<\/strong> Use platform insights to track the performance of your posts and provide weekly reports on what\u2019s working and why.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content Scheduling:<\/strong> Manage a multi-brand content calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic flow of information. \u00a0Currently using Vista Social but open to suggestions for platforms you feel may serve the goals more efficiently.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event Coverage:<\/strong> (As applicable) Assist with live social media coverage during events, capturing the &#8220;vibe&#8221; for fans and the &#8220;value&#8221; for professionals.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Academic Standing:<\/strong> Must be a current Junior or Senior (3rd or 4th year) pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media Marketing, or a related field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The &#8220;Voice&#8221;:<\/strong> The ability to switch between &#8220;enthusiastic fan&#8221; and &#8220;authoritative professional&#8221; in written communication with a bit of rebellion and a lot of authority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design Savvy:<\/strong> Familiarity with the <strong>Adobe Creative Suite<\/strong> (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) in the event you must make content on the fly or find things that need immediate correction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Platform Expertise:<\/strong> Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, FB, Reddit and YouTube for consumer growth, and a deep understanding of LinkedIn for professional B2B networking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reaper Mentality:<\/strong> You will have mentorship, but we value interns who can research a topic and present a creative &#8220;take&#8221;
