This is hands-on, active work for people who enjoy movement, problem-solving, teamwork, and meaningful human connection.<\/p>\n<p>You will:<\/p>\n<p>Support individuals with their daily lives \u2014 not <i>do things for them<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Follow Individual Service Plans (ISP) and help people reach personal goals<\/p>\n<p>Encourage independence through skill-building and everyday teaching moments<\/p>\n<p>Assist with personal care (meals, hygiene, positioning, transfers)<\/p>\n<p>Support community involvement, recreation, work activities, and transportation<\/p>\n<p>Provide medication support (as trained and authorized)<\/p>\n<p>Attend medical appointments and communicate changes to the care team<\/p>\n<p>Respond calmly and confidently during emergencies<\/p>\n<p>Maintain accurate documentation and reports<\/p>\n<p>Create a safe, positive, respectful environment every shift<\/p>\n<p><u>The 3-Day Work Week<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Our fixed 12-hour shift model gives you <strong>predictability and balance<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule Options<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Back-Half:<\/strong> Thursday\u2013 Saturday\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shift Times Start for Day Hours between 7AM-9AM and end at 7PM-9PM.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You\u2019ll work <strong>about 12 days per month<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Fixed schedules<\/strong> \u2014 same days, same locations, same people<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Premium pay<\/strong> for weekend shifts (Saturday &amp; Sunday)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This model lets you build strong relationships with the people you support <i>without<\/i> burnout.<\/p>\n<p><u>This Is a Physically Active Role<\/u><\/p>\n<p>This job is ideal for someone who likes to stay moving and can handle physical demands safely and professionally.<\/p>\n<p>You must be able to:<\/p>\n<p>Stand, walk, move, and remain active for extended periods<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kneel on one knee or two and stand back up unassisted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Transition smoothly between standing, kneeling, squatting, and bending<\/p>\n<p>Push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. using proper body mechanics<\/p>\n<p>Assist with transfers and positioning as needed<\/p>\n<p>Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements<\/p>\n<p>React quickly and safely in dynamic situations<\/p>\n<p>Use PPE when required (gloves, masks, gowns, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll work both <strong>indoors and outdoors<\/strong> in active environments \u2014 no desk-bound days here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills That Matter<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Compassionate, patient, and respectful<\/p>\n<p>Comfortable following plans, routines, and safety procedures<\/p>\n<p>Strong communicators (written and verbal)<\/p>\n<p>Team-oriented but able to work independently<\/p>\n<p>Willing to learn and complete required training<\/p>\n<p>Reliable, punctual, and accountable<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.\u00a0 Must be 18 years of age or older.\u00a0 Valid driver\u2019s license with clean driving record.\u00a0 May require training\/testing to drive accessible vehicle.\u00a0 Prior experience working with children or adults with disabilities or challenging behaviors preferred.\u00a0 Successful completion and certification in training provided by agency within specific time allotment required.\u00a0 <i><strong>All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/i>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why Work for Us?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We Are Driven by Our<strong>\u00a0<u>Mission<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Empowering people to live their best life.<\/p>\n<p>We Have a <strong><u>Vision<\/u><\/strong> for Our Future<\/p>\n<p>LifeScape will be an innovative organization, providing exceptional services and creative solutions for people with varied needs and complex care across their life span.
