From initial concept to final delivery, the team works together to create engaging content that connects with audiences.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The approximate dates for this internship are January \u2013 May 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do<\/strong><br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Post Edit Intern\u00a0will use their technical editing background and experience to learn about editing sports content relevant to ESPN-produced studio &amp; event productions. Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Supporting non-linear video editing in a fast-paced sports broadcast environment while contributing to creative content across ESPN platforms<\/p>\n<p>Collaborating with editors and cross-functional teams while learning Creative Studio Post workflows, editorial standards and best practices<\/p>\n<p>Developing hands-on experience with broadcast equipment and editing technology, while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a high-demand and live production environment with guidance from the team<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated experience editing video using non-linear editing software, including Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)<\/p>\n<p>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with editors, producers and cross-functional teams<\/p>\n<p>Ability to manage multiple editing assignments, prioritize shifting needs and deliver quality work within quick-turnaround deadlines in a fast-paced production environment<\/p>\n<p>Proficiency with Windows-based applications and Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel, for communication, collaboration and project tracking<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Previous campus, academic, freelance or internship experience in post-production editing, including hands-on experience editing video content<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively with editors, producers, production assistants and other creative partners<\/p>\n<p>Working knowledge of major professional and collegiate sports, including teams, leagues, athletes and current sports storylines<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Senior year\u202fpreferred<\/p>\n<p>Major or previous coursework in Communications, Journalism, Post-Production or related major\u202fpreferred<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Documents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A portfolio or reel showcasing your creative work is required as part of the application process.
