No laboratory experience is required, just a desire to learn technical skills and become proficient in common laboratory practices and procedures. On-the-job training will be provided for all new employees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>Preparation and digestion of environmental lead samples: paint, soil, wipes and cassettes by Flame AA<br \/>Preparation and analysis of samples using ICP<br \/>Laboratory work environment requires care when handling acids, solvents, and other reagents<br \/>Generate analytical reports and enter data into the LIMS system<br \/>Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed<br \/>Perform quality control practices per company Quality Assurance\/Quality Control manual<br \/>Administrative duties including sample login and data entry, scanning and emailing reports and answering phones<br \/>Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Chemistry or related science is required<br \/>Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship<br \/>0 to 1 years&#8217; experience working in a lab setting with FLAA and\/or ICP is a plus but not required<br \/>Ability to distinguish colors in order to perform analysis<br \/>Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude<br \/>Effective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal assistance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Available Shift:<\/strong><br \/>Position is full time, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<br \/>Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis are encouraged to apply<\/p>\n<p>EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401(k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay and a flexible spending account.
