After-School All-Stars<\/strong> is seeking energetic and caring youth Program Leaders to provide supervision, mentoring, support and to lead activities to students in grades 3-8, after school in one or more school locations. Reporting to the Site Coordinator, the Program Leader will implement lesson plans and provide coaching in life skills, sports &amp; wellness, arts, literacy, and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>After-School All-Stars<\/strong> is one of the leading national after-school program providers in the country. With a special focus on the middle school age group our school-based programs combine academics, enrichment, and health and fitness activities to help build the knowledge and skills children need to succeed, both in school and in life.<\/p>\n<p>The Program Leader should embody <strong>After-School All-Stars&#8217;<\/strong> core values: accountable, collaborative, transparent, proactive, entrepreneurial, and will demonstrate the ability to lead students to accomplish established objectives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Lead, implement, and instruct the curriculum provided by <strong>After-School All-Stars<\/strong> (examples include fitness &amp; nutrition, arts &amp; culture, STEM, social-emotional lessons, career exploration and project-based learning).<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Model and promote the mission, values, and guiding principles of <strong>After-School All-Stars<\/strong> through appropriate appearance, words, and actions.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Provide direct supervision to ensure student safety.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Responsibilities require your presence on campus during your scheduled work shifts.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Maintain order and provide behavior management.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Ensure the school rules and policies are reflected in daily practice.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Attend instructor trainings\/meetings as required.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Work in partnership with other staff, teachers and the Site Coordinator to ensure that program activities are exciting and relevant to youth, as well as organized and well-thought-out.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Maintain professional and positive relationships with school staff, students, and parents.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Maintain accurate attendance data and reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience and Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will have a year or more of youth work, youth recreation, or youth teaching experience.
