About DTMB: \u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB)<\/a>\u00a0supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.\u00a0<\/p>\n

About the position: \u00a0<\/strong>This position serves as a customer liaison between the State of Michigan and its external partners including Federal, State,
Tribal and Local governments, K-12 and higher education, and not-for-profit organizations. This position is responsible for conducting professional assignments and outreach efforts as directed to foster cross-boundary technology collaboration partnerships, and cross-boundary geospatial collaboration partnerships.
This position also provides specific program support to Center for Shared Solutions special projects and grant activities, to include researching and applying for grant opportunities, organizing and attending program\/grant meetings and workshops, providing technical recommendations for program\/grant activities, maintaining program\/grant relationships, and other program activities as assigned. This outreach can include communication and collaboration with partners on statewide geospatial programs as the Michigan Statewide Authoritative Imagery and LiDAR (MiSAIL) program, statewide GIS data exchange programs, and statewide GIS data development projects.<\/p>\n

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:<\/u><\/strong>
\u2022 Knowledge of inter- and intra- governmental coordination.
\u2022 Knowledge of geospatial technology
\u2022 Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
\u2022 Knowledge of orthoimagery and LiDAR
\u2022 Knowledge of information technology concepts.Public relations skills.
\u2022 Ability to manage within a large and complex organization.
\u2022 Ability to present to stakeholder groups
\u2022 Ability to facilitate and lead meetings or workshops
\u2022 Ability to communicate effectively, especially relating to technical matters.
\u2022 Self-motivation and initiative.
\u2022 Ability to prioritize competing work tasks and manage time effectively.<\/p>\n

Position Location: \u00a0<\/strong>This position is located in Lansing, MI. \u00a0Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview. \u00a0The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week (subject to change).<\/p>\n
