Confers with defense attorneys.<\/li>\n<li>Handles appeals of misdemeanor convictions to District Court.<\/li>\n<li>Represents Department of Motor Vehicle in administrative appeals to District Court.<\/li>\n<li>Explains and interprets statutes and status of various cases to the general public, and determines the adequacy of complaints presented by the public.<\/li>\n<li>Interviews and prepares victims and witnesses.
