As a Logistics Coordinator Intern, you\u2019ll work alongside a Sales Account Executive and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to manage customer accounts and keep freight moving. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the logistics business while building valuable communication, problem-solving, and business skills.<\/p>\n

What You’ll Do<\/h3>\n

  • \nSupport Daily Operations:<\/strong> Assist the Sales Account Executive with the day-to-day management of customer accounts and shipments.<\/li>\n
  • \nLearn the Logistics Process:<\/strong> Gain hands-on experience coordinating freight from pickup to delivery and learn how shippers, carriers, and brokers work together.<\/li>\n
  • \nCommunicate with Customers & Carriers:<\/strong> Assist with emails, calls, updates, and follow-up to help ensure shipments stay on track.<\/li>\n
  • \nProblem Solve:<\/strong> Help troubleshoot shipment issues and identify solutions when things don\u2019t go as planned.<\/li>\n
  • \nAssist with Rates & Quotes:<\/strong> Learn how freight is priced and assist with gathering and comparing rates from carriers.<\/li>\n
  • \nStay Organized:<\/strong> Help maintain accurate shipment information, update systems, and keep account details organized.<\/li>\n
  • \nLearn the Business:<\/strong> Gain exposure to freight brokerage, sales, customer relationships, transportation operations, and account management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What We’re Looking For<\/h3>\n

    • Strong communication and organizational skills<\/li>\n
    • A positive, team-oriented attitude<\/li>\n
    • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n
    • Someone who takes initiative and isn’t afraid to ask questions<\/li>\n
    • Interest in sales, business, logistics, transportation, or supply chain<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n
    • Currently pursuing a degree in business, marketing, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
