Position Overview
Quality Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking experienced and board-certified physicians to
join our network as Independent Medical Examiners (IME). Physicians will perform objective,
evidence-based medical evaluations within their area of specialty and provide professional
medical opinions through detailed narrative reporting.
The IME Physician will review medical documentation, conduct independent examinations,
assess functional limitations and prognosis, and prepare comprehensive reports in accordance
with medical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
This role requires strong clinical expertise, neutrality, professionalism, and excellent
documentation skills.
All examinations will be conducted at the physician\u2019s own office or clinical practice location. No
travel or field visits are required.
Minimum Qualifications
\u25cf Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
\u25cf Active and unrestricted medical license in good standing
\u25cf Board Certified or Board Eligible in a recognized specialty, including but not limited to:
\u25cb Orthopedic Surgery
\u25cb Neurology
\u25cb Psychiatry
\u25cb Internal Medicine
\u25cb Family Medicine

\u25cf No active disciplinary actions or professional sanctions
Key Responsibilities
Independent Medical Examinations
\u25cf Conduct objective and impartial medical evaluations using evidence-based clinical
standards
\u25cf Review medical records, diagnostic testing, and treatment history prior to examinations
\u25cf Perform specialty-specific physical or psychiatric assessments as appropriate
\u25cf Evaluate functional capacity, clinical condition, and work-related limitations when
applicable
\u25cf Maintain neutrality and professional integrity throughout the examination process
Records Review & Analysis
\u25cf Analyze medical records, diagnostic findings, and treatment progression
\u25cf Incorporate records review into professional medical opinions and reporting
\u25cf Assess causation, treatment necessity, and prognosis where applicable
Reporting & Documentation
\u25cf Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive narrative IME reports
\u25cf Provide medically supported opinions regarding:
\u25cb Diagnosis
\u25cb Functional limitations
\u25cb Prognosis
\u25cb Treatment recommendations
\u25cb Causation (when applicable)
\u25cf Submit reports within required turnaround timelines
\u25cf Provide supplemental or clarification reports as needed

\u25cf Participate in peer review or quality assurance activities when requested
\u25cf Maintain active licensure and credentialing documentation
Scheduling & Communication
\u25cf Coordinate availability with scheduling staff
\u25cf Maintain timely communication regarding appointments and report completion
\u25cf Interact professionally with examinees, attorneys, and administrative personnel
\u25cf Notify staffing coordinators of any updates to credentials or availability
Work Location
\u25cf All examinations are conducted exclusively at the physician\u2019s private office or
established clinical practice location
\u25cf No travel required
\u25cf No offsite or field examinations required
