Stop & Shop Summer Internship Program
Location: Quincy, MA
Duration: 10 weeks
The Stop & Shop paid summer internship program offers undergraduate students (Freshman through Senior) the opportunity to work on meaningful, real-world projects that make an impact. Stop & Shop’s corporate support office provides an ideal environment to explore the complexities of the grocery industry. Interns gain valuable experience while developing leadership capabilities and business knowledge, with access to learning and development sessions, networking opportunities, and exposure to Stop & Shop’s culture.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
We have a hybrid work environment that requires a minimum of three days per week in the Quincy, MA Corporate Support Office (accessible by MBTA and Commuter Rail).

What You’ll Do:
\u2022 Support the Strategy & Innovation team on key strategic initiatives and priority projects
\u2022 Analyze market, competitive, and internal business trends to identify insights and opportunities
\u2022 Assist in developing strategic recommendations through research, data evaluation, and scenario analysis
\u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather information, validate assumptions, and support decision-making
\u2022 Prepare materials, summaries, and presentations that help communicate findings and recommendations to leaders
\u2022 Contribute to project coordination and ensure workstreams stay organized and on track
\u2022 Create a final presentation highlighting internship learnings and process improvement recommendations<\/p>\n

\u2022 Active enrollment is undergraduate college or university (Freshman through Senior) pursuing a degree in Business, Retail Management, Operations, Project Management, Communications, or a related field.
\u2022 Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
\u2022 Understanding of workplace etiquette
\u2022 Basic business acumen, preferred interest in the grocery and retail industries
\u2022 Clear written and verbal communication
\u2022 Data analysis
\u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
\u2022 Ability to collaborate with a team and to prioritize tasks
\u2022 Strong attention to detail
\u2022 Eagerness to learn new tools, concepts, and processes with openness to receive and apply feedback and learning
\u2022 Ability to create executive presentations applying storytelling, preferred
\u2022 Project management, preferred<\/p>\n

Hourly rate: $20.00-$27.90 – rate will vary based on current academic year.<\/p>\n
