The Cardiovascular perfusionist is primarily focused on clinical support with the management of cardiopulmonary bypass, supporting mechanical circulatory technologies as well as participate in blood conservation strategies in collaboration with our surgical and ICU team.\u00a0 They will need to be proficient and up to date with modern platforms, have strong communication skills and use teamwork to ensure patient safety.\u00a0 The perfusionist we will aid in education, working with staff to advance practical knowledge, safety and strategies to improve patient outcomes.\u00a0 Beyond clinical responsibilities the perfusionist would be responsible for equipment care, turnover, sampling \/ monitoring as well as participate in scheduled department meetings.<\/p>\n
