Through home visits, relationship-building, and hands-on coaching, you&#8217;ll help parents become their child&#8217;s first and most important teacher while supporting school readiness, language development, and positive family engagement.<\/p>\n<p>This is more than a home visiting role. It&#8217;s an opportunity to empower families, celebrate diverse cultures, and help children thrive during the most critical years of development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You&#8217;ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build meaningful, long-term relationships with families of children ages 18 months to 4 years.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct engaging home visits that model simple, effective ways parents can promote learning through books, play, and everyday interactions.<\/li>\n<li>Inspire a love of learning by providing books and educational materials that help families create enriching home learning environments.<\/li>\n<li>Support children&#8217;s language, cognitive, and social-emotional development while promoting school readiness.<\/li>\n<li>Use a strengths-based approach that recognizes and builds upon each family&#8217;s unique abilities and experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Serve families from diverse backgrounds, including immigrant and under-resourced communities, with culturally responsive practices.<\/li>\n<li>Help connect families to community resources and supports when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in outreach, recruitment, training, and team collaboration to expand the program&#8217;s impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who You Are<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passionate about early childhood development and the belief that every child deserves a strong start.<\/li>\n<li>Energized by building trusting relationships with families and supporting parents in their role as educators.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working independently while remaining connected to a collaborative team.<\/li>\n<li>Committed to equity, inclusion, cultural humility, and strengths-based family engagement.<\/li>\n<li>A strong communicator who can relate to people from diverse cultural, educational, and economic backgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>Organized, dependable, and able to maintain accurate documentation and program records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a part-time position at 20 Hours a Week.
