This position provides an exciting\u00a0 opportunity to solicit institutional funders through grant writing and research and support the organizational fundraising plan. Our\u00a0 Development Manager will report to the Executive Director and work with the Board of Directors, Leadership Team, and the entire\u00a0 staff. This is a full-time (40 hours\/week) position with benefits.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Experience and Qualifications\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Bachelor\u2019s Degree in English\/Writing, or other relevant area of study, required\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf 3+ years of experience as a Development\/Grants Manager required\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf 4+ years of experience with grant writing required\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Knowledge of grants databases, including Network for Good, Access, Salesforce, etc., preferred \u25cf Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse races\/ethnicities, sexual orientation, gender identity, cultures, age\u00a0 groups, religion, country of origin, disability and economic status\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Excellent verbal and written communication skills\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Demonstrated commitment to Sociedad Latina\u2019s mission of supporting Latine youth and families\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Lead fundraising efforts to support the organizational budget, including securing institutional grants and cultivating\u00a0 individual donor relationships\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Write and submit high-quality letters of intent, proposals, and reports to institutional funders, meeting internal and external\u00a0 deadlines\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Compose and submit program budgets to institutional funders, meeting internal and external deadlines\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Manage grants database and Development server, including inputting award decisions, saving award letters, pulling reports,\u00a0 and writing acknowledgement letters\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Support the Executive Director with meeting the annual fundraising plan and issuing quarterly Board reports\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Meet with the Executive Director for supervision meetings and other Development planning meetings\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Plan and implement strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of foundations, corporations, government\u00a0 agencies, and individual donors\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Supervise Development Associate, including with their grant writing and reporting;
