You will:<\/p>\n Plan and lead age-appropriate activities throughout the day.<\/p>\n Create opportunities for children to explore, learn, play, and be creative.<\/p>\n Support each child’s individual interests, abilities, and developmental needs.<\/p>\n Provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming classroom environment.<\/p>\n Serve as a positive and caring role model<\/strong> for children.<\/p>\n Supervise and engage children throughout the day.<\/p>\n Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.<\/p>\n Follow EEC regulations and Old Colony YMCA policies and procedures.<\/p>\n Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.<\/p>\n Communicate effectively with families and Y leadership.<\/p>\n Complete required documentation and attendance records.<\/p>\n Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.<\/p>\n Help create a positive team environment where everyone can learn and grow.<\/p>\n We’re looking for someone who is:<\/p>\n \u2728 Caring and dependable Minimum of 21 years of age OR<\/strong> a high school diploma\/equivalent and meet EEC requirements for education and experience for Teacher.<\/p>\n EEC Teacher Certification required.<\/strong><\/p>\n CPR\/AED and First Aid certifications required.<\/p>\n Evidence of a physical examination within the last 12 months.<\/p>\n Ability to remain active throughout the workday, including sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving.<\/p>\n Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. frequently.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udc99 What We Offer<\/p>\n When you join the Old Colony YMCA, you’re joining a team that invests in YOU!<\/strong><\/p>\n \ud83c\udf89 FREE YMCA Membership<\/strong> At the Y, the work you do goes beyond the classroom.
