If hired, you will provide daily physical and educational enrichment opportunities like homework support, STEAM activities, and sports &amp; recreation \u2013 all while assisting in coordinating activities and events to support children academically, emotionally and physically giving parents confidence and peace of mind.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 18 years of age.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in Child Care and\/or Education (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in urban communities and managing an OST program or other community-based youth program (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated positive attitude, patience, and previous experience working with diverse populations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong drive to improve the minds and lives of scholars within the community.<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).<\/li>\n<li>Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that the goals of the program are achieved for each scholar.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in coordinating activities and events for parents, scholars, and staff, including field trips, guest speakers, and community service projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all curriculum and supplies are maintained throughout the program.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure scholars are receiving meaningful and engaging instruction.<\/li>\n<li>Implement and maintain a positive behavior-management system that is clear and aligns with the school, district, and state requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Always ensure the ongoing health and safety of attending children.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Implement the
