After 2 years of Full-Time employment, the YMCA will contribute 8% of your monthly earnings<\/li>\n<li>Accrual of 15 days of paid vacation (vacation accruals increase with years of service)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>8 paid Holidays\/Floating Holidays per year<\/li>\n<li>Paid Sick Leave accrued at 1.23 hours for every 40 hours worked per year<\/li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Plan (EAP), Digital mental health counseling platform, Wellness program and LifeMart employee discount center<\/li>\n<li>Professional training, education and certification opportunities<\/li>\n<li>20% discount on YMCA programs, Child Care services, and merchandise<\/li>\n<li>Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility for Full-Time employees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum age of 21 years or older.<\/li>\n<li>Two years of full-time management or supervisory experience (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with school-aged children, including prior experience in a childcare or similar educational setting (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Completion of 12 or more college quarter credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or an equivalent educational background in early learning or child development\u2013related coursework.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to complete required STARS training within 60 days of hire and to meet all Washington State educational requirements within four years of hire (YMCA support provided).<\/li>\n<li>Current Infant\u2013Child CPR and Basic First Aid certification and a valid Food Handler\u2019s Permit, or willingness to obtain required certifications within 30 days of hire (YMCA assistance provided).<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to obtain a Food Handler\u2019s Permit (cost reimbursable), complete a pre-employment TB skin test with negative results (YMCA assistance provided), and provide proof of MMR vaccination prior to the first day of employment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to successfully complete all required DCYF background and fingerprint checks prior to the first day of hire.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).<\/li>\n<li>Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct parent conferences and maintain positive relationships and effective communication with parents.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the program director and branch leadership team to advocate for team needs and collaborate on partnership opportunities when appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback and deliver on the onboarding of new site staff;
