{"id":103281,"date":"2026-09-09T14:45:17","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T14:45:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/nuclear-medicine-technologist-23\/"},"modified":"2026-10-04T08:33:43","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T12:33:43","slug":"nuclear-medicine-technologist-23","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/nuclear-medicine-technologist-23\/","title":{"rendered":"Nuclear Medicine Technologist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist<\/p>\n<p>Location: RWJ New Brunswick<\/p>\n<p>Department: Nuclear Medicine<\/p>\n<p>Req#: 0000148468<\/p>\n<p>Status: Full-Time<\/p>\n<p>Shift: Day<\/p>\n<p>Pay Range: $56.66\u00a0&#8211; $70.12\u00a0per hour<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pay Transparency:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p>The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate&#8217;s educational background, skills and professional experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$12,000 Sign On Bonus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assists the nuclear physician with the implementation of special imaging procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>Required:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a current NJ State license.<\/li>\n<li>ARRT and\/or NMTCB<\/li>\n<li>BLS certification required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><i>Preferred:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two years hospital experience as a staff technologist preferred.<\/li>\n<li>NMTCB Fusion Certification or ARRT R, CT, certification preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Scheduling Requirements:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a full time, day position -40 hours\/week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Abides by standards established by the hospital, state and federal regulatory agencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Accepts special assignments from supervisor and completes them on time.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Assists the nuclear physician with the implementation of special imaging procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Assures that all tests are performed properly and test results are valid and accurate prior to the release of the patient.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Calibrates the dose calibrator and performs QC procedures on gamma cameras per departmental protocols and notifies the lead tech of any malfunctions\/issues promptly.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Explains the procedure to the patient clearly including wait times and performs the procedure assuring maximum comfort to the patient.
