Our mission is to provide the finest care to our patients and residents. We offer sub-acute care, physical rehabilitation, long-term care, behavioral management, Ventilator\/Respiratory\/Trach.\u00a0Care Hospice, and Respite services. Preakness Healthcare Center has been providing high-quality healthcare to the community since 1929.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We are currently seeking <strong><u>PART TIME Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for ALL SHIFTS (8 hr shifts)<\/u><\/strong> that includes working every weekend. Under direction of a nurse or other supervisory staff, CNAs perform the non-clinical nursing duties involved in the care of residents for their activities of daily living to provide resident-centered care.<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><u>As per NJ Civil Service Job Specification: 02562<\/u><br \/>Responsibilities will include:<br \/>\u2022 Provide resident-centered care as a member of the interdisciplinary care team<br \/>\u2022 Maintain required documentation<br \/>\u2022 Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with residents and staff<\/p>\n<p>Salary: As per AFSCME 2273 Agreement<br \/><strong>License Required: <\/strong>As per NJAC 8:39-43.2, a valid NJ Nurse\u2019s Aide Certification<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that may include finger printing. As of September 2010, in accordance with N.J.S.A 52:14-7, the \u201cNew Jersey First Act,\u201d all new employees must reside in the State of New Jersey, unless exempted under the law.
