PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Performs radiographic exams to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. Works effectively with patients and patients\u2019 families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures, which include positioning patient, adjusting equipment settings to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area being imaged and determining proper voltage and exposure.<\/p>\n

\u25cf QC images once taken.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Provides appropriate patient protection following prescribed safety standards.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Notifies supervisor of equipment repair needs.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Maintains compliance with Texas Medical Board and ARRT educational requirements.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Adheres to all company policies, including but not limited to, OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Regular and dependable attendance.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Follows the core competencies set forth by the Company, which are available for review on ARC SharePoint.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Works holiday shift(s) as required by Company policy.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Required:<\/strong>\u00a0High school diploma or GED. Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school. Experience working with all age groups. Familiarity with PACS image retrieval and storage. Experience in digital radiography.<\/p>\n

Preferred:\u00a0<\/strong>One (1) or more years of related work experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n
