This part-time internship will begin in Fall 2026, with hours scheduled around classes and primarily during regular business hours.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll work with FHU\u2019s Marketing &amp; Creative Communications team, gaining hands-on experience developing and managing content for social media, internal communications, and FHU\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create content for FHU\u2019s external social media channels, including messaging, graphics, photography, and filming and editing videos.<\/li>\n<li>Support internal communications through FHU\u2019s SharePoint site, including weekly articles, a monthly newsletter, and other employee content.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with updating and organizing information on FHU\u2019s external website, with opportunities to support broader improvements to website structure and navigation.<\/li>\n<li>Adapt stories about FHU\u2019s people, projects, expertise, and culture for different audiences and channels.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and coordinate communications, calendars, and workflows using Rella.<\/li>\n<li>Track performance and use analytics to understand what resonates with different audiences and inform future content.<\/li>\n<li>Explore ways AI and other emerging tools can support content development, improve workflows, and streamline communications processes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with other communications projects as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, journalism, or a related field; junior or senior standing preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of how content, messaging, and format vary across social media, websites, and internal communications.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in creating and editing video content for social media, such as Reels or similar short videos.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with or interest in WordPress or other website content management systems.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Canva, or similar design and video-editing tools.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SharePoint, Rella, or comparable tools for publishing, organizing, and managing content is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants are encouraged to submit examples of relevant marketing or communications work, such as social media content or campaigns and video.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why FHU?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FHU is a collaborative, inclusive workplace where people are encouraged to contribute ideas, keep learning, and grow.
