About the Role
Olive Consulting is seeking a Solutions Architect to help design and deliver cloud and technology solutions for businesses and organizations. The Solutions Architect will work with clients and internal teams to understand business and technical requirements, develop solution architectures, and support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Design scalable and secure cloud solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud technologies.
- Assess client infrastructure, applications, data, and business requirements.
- Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies.
- Create solution architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans.
- Recommend appropriate cloud services, platforms, and technologies.
- Support cloud readiness assessments and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate with software engineers, cloud engineers, data professionals, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in client meetings and technical presentations.
- Help identify opportunities to improve performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Support pre-sales activities, including technical discovery, proposals, demonstrations, and solution estimates.
- Stay current with emerging cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and technology trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field or equivalent technical experience.
- Knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, databases, APIs, and application development.
- Familiarity with cloud migration and modernization concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification.
- Experience with cloud migration, DevOps, infrastructure, or software development.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, or Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience creating architecture diagrams using tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or Draw.io.
- Consulting, client-facing, or technical sales experience.
