Lead U creates high-energy experiences for schools and community groups using games, music, movement, and meaningful conversation. We’re looking for part-time Crew Members to help bring those experiences to life throughout New Jersey.
Crew Members help set up programs, organize and engage participants, support Lead U facilitators, participate in games and demonstrations, operate basic program equipment, and help the team adapt when plans change.
We’re looking for people who are:
- Dependable, communicative, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Comfortable interacting with children, teens, and adults
- Willing to jump into active games and activities
- Able to stay positive and problem-solve when things change
- Playful while still being professional
- Coachable and willing to learn
Experience in education, camps, recreation, theater, events, coaching, youth programs, music, public speaking, or AV is helpful, but not required.
Requirements: Must be 18+, have reliable transportation, be able to travel to programs throughout New Jersey, and have weekday daytime availability. This is an active role involving standing, moving, setup/cleanup, and carrying program equipment.
Starting pay: $20/hour. Lead U travel time is compensated.
Most programs take place during the school day, and opportunities vary from week to week.
