Casework Supervisor – Intake Children & Youth Services:

Students from another state who are currently residing in Pennsylvania and enrolled at a Pennsylvania college, university, or technical school, are eligible to apply. However, if hired, you must establish Pennsylvania (Commonwealth) residency within six months of your employment start date.

This position provides a complete range of intake management and social services to children, youth, and families. A successful candidate would supervise four to six caseworkers in the Intake unit and complete performance evaluations along with monitoring the unit staff to assure services are provided in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for the daily hands-on operation of the Intake Unit in absence of the caseworkers.  May be responsible to carry a direct service caseload.  

Performs training for new and existing caseworkers in the Intake Unit in accordance with the agency’s policy and procedures. Position is responsible for preparation of intake unit policies on an on-going basis; evaluates and recommends changes to policy and procedures as per federal/state regulations. Contributes to the development of the annual plan, and for collecting data and statistics, analyzing same and preparing written documentation for review by supervisory and administrative personnel.
