LHBS learners develop knowledge, skills, and critical thinking that prepare them to lead businesses as a force for good.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-lhbs-mission-is-achieved-through\">The LHBS Mission is achieved through<\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teaching excellence that leads to Bachelor of Science &amp; Master of Business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administration degrees, or other relevant designations we develop over time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A diverse, equitable, inclusive, and safe learning environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small classroom instruction with academically qualified faculty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Empowered faculty that conduct high-quality research &amp; scholarship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A contemporary business curriculum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engagement with alumni to enable lifelong learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partnerships with local community, practitioners, and businesses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professionalism and respect at all levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"guiding-principles\">Guiding Principles<\/h2>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The LHBS will establish and enhance relationships with business organizations within our market area:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To foster collaboration with the faculty;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To create employment opportunities for our students; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For potential collaborations for research, teaching, fundraising, and knowledge development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The LHBS will periodically review current curriculum to ensure it reflects current business practices and marketplace needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The LHBS will establish opportunities for increased Alumni engagement for both future and current Alumni for transition and continued Career and Professional Development.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Leon Hess Business School (LHBS) provides learners personalized instruction through a community of teachers, scholars, and practitioners.
