Monmouth has also expanded its academic offerings to include four doctoral and more than 20 master\u2019s programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps most significantly, Monmouth is entering the national university category in the 2026 U.S. News &amp; World Report rankings\u2014a transition Leahy characterized as a milestone in the university\u2019s evolution from a junior college to a nationally recognized university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The June opening of the $15 million Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music represents another major opportunity. Funded entirely through private donations, the center is expected to expand Monmouth\u2019s reach while enhancing the student experience and strengthening connections to the music and entertainment industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leahy also highlighted the university\u2019s proximity to Netflix\u2019s planned production complex at Fort Monmouth.
