{"id":8412,"date":"2023-03-08T11:15:47","date_gmt":"2023-03-08T16:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/business-council\/?page_id=8412"},"modified":"2025-01-28T16:26:24","modified_gmt":"2025-01-28T21:26:24","slug":"student-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/business-council\/student-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"leon-hess-business-council-annual-scholarship\">Leon Hess Business Council Annual Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The recipient of this scholarship is selected by the Monmouth University Financial Aid Office considering students who meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Current\/continuing undergraduate students or transfer undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with any concentration within the Leon Hess Business School.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recipient must be a full time student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recipient should have a GPA of 3.0 or above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Scholarship is renewable if the above criteria continue to be met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"leon-hess-business-council-endowed-scholarship\">Leon Hess Business Council Endowed Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The recipient of this scholarship is selected by the Monmouth University Financial Aid Office considering students who meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is preferred that the recipient be a first-year or second-year student, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with any concentration within the Leon Hess Business School.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The recipient should have a high school GPA of 3.0 and above; if a transfer student, he\/she should have a GPA of 3.0 and above; and if a current MU student, a GPA of 3.0 and above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the above criteria cannot be met, then the University will administer the Scholarship to a MU student, who is pursuing a BS degree in Business Administration with any concentration within the Leon Hess Business School and has a GPA of 2.75 or higher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preference for student with military service or direct family member with military service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Scholarship is renewable if the above criteria continue to be met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"joseph-w-adelhardt-81-memorial-scholarship\">Joseph W. Adelhardt &#8217;81 Memorial Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The recipient of this scholarship is selected by the Monmouth University Financial Aid Office considering students who meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recipient must be a Monmouth University undergraduate who is pursuing an MBA at Monmouth University.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The scholarship is
