If your financial aid monies exceed the amount that you owe, there will be credit amount on your bill. You may use this anticipated credit amount to purchase your school books at the University Store. It is important for you to check your financial account periodically as changes may occur to your bill or financial aid that would require your attention.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"anchorMargin\" name=\"q24\"><\/a><strong>What is the IRS Form 1098T? and how do I get it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The University will provide you with IRS Form 1098-T to help you or your parents determine eligibility for the American Opportunity (formerly Hope Scholarship) or Lifetime Learning Credits. <a href=\"http:\/\/tra.maximus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The IRS Form 1098-T is made available for download electronically by January 31 via the Maximus TRA Services website<\/a>\u00a0for students who have consented to receive the form electronically. Instructions on how to obtain your form can be found here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/bursar\/documents\/2024\/01\/1098t-web-access-instructions.pdf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1098T Web Access Instructions<\/a>. The 1098-T is mailed to the permanent home address of students who have elected to receive a paper copy by January 31 for the preceding calendar year.
