Size<\/h2>\n\n\n

The mark may be enlarged or reduced in size as required. The minimum size of any mark is often determined by the method of reproduction or fabrication. The minimum size for print use is shown to the right. Generally, the mark should only be used at a size that does not compromise quality and legibility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Clear Space<\/h2>\n\n\n

For the mark to communicate effectively, it should not be crowded or overwhelmed by other elements. \u201cClear space\u201d refers to the area surrounding the mark that should be kept free from visual distraction. No graphic element or text of any kind should be placed within this clear space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recommended clear space is equal to the letter \u201cM\u201d in the University word mark (X = height of letter M), as shown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Usage: Light Background<\/h2>\n\n\n

The primary color option for our logo is Shadow Blue (Pantone 295). It is intended to be used on lighter backgrounds and images in order to maintain legibility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mark Integrity Violations<\/h2>\n\n\n

Consistent and proper usage of the mark is essential for ensuring the desired perception of Monmouth University. Improper usage is confusing and could possibly lead to the eventual loss of copyright\/trademark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several examples of incorrect usage are shown on this page. However, it is not an exhaustive collection. If you are faced with using the mark in an application that you find questionable or not included in this manual, please contact Vera Towle<\/a>, creative project manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The integrity of the Monmouth University brand diminishes when the marks are incorrectly applied. Unauthorized versions and unacceptable usage of the mark place their legal protection at risk. Any variation or alteration, however small, is inappropriate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
