Chemical Engineering<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Monmouth University offers an innovative, dual-degree Chemistry and Chemical Engineering five-year program that allows students to earn their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (Advanced Chemistry) at Monmouth University and then seamlessly transition to Stevens Institute of Technology for their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stevens.edu\/program\/chemical-engineering-masters\">Master of Science in Chemical Engineering<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Monmouth, you\u2019ll gain hands-on experiences working in state-of-the-art laboratories, collaborate as an undergraduate student on faculty-led research projects, and learn from a curriculum certified by the American Chemical Society\u2014giving you an edge as you head into graduate school and your future career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After completing year three of your undergraduate work at Monmouth, you will progress to enroll in graduate coursework at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey in the summer prior to your fourth year in the program.<\/strong> The waterfront campus overlooking the New York City skyline is just one hour away from the coastal campus of Monmouth University. Current students must express their interest in the program as early as possible to ensure consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applying students must meet program requirements to be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mu-accordion\"><details><summary><span class=\"acc-header\">To Apply &#8211; First Year Students<\/span> <\/summary><div class=\"int-wrapper\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apply through the Common Application or Monmouth University application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the B.S. in Chemistry\/M.S. in Chemical Engineering program option on the Common Application or Monmouth University Application when you apply to Monmouth University.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit the $60 application fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit official high school transcript<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit test scores if applying traditional; test scores not required for the test optional plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications are due <strong>December 1 <\/strong>and must contain a personal statement detailing interest in the program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admission to the program is extremely competitive. The graduate application fee will be waived for students applying to the M.S. in Chemical Engineering program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the senior (fourth) year at Monmouth, admitted students will enroll into the M.S. in Chemical Engineering at Stevens.
