All students wishing to enroll in certain math courses are required to pass two gateway exams. Exam 1/2 should be taken while completing the first two semesters of calculus, as it is a prerequisite for Calculus III and Linear Algebra. Exam 3 should be taken some time during the sophomore year, as it is a prerequisite for Number Theory, Geometry, Probability and Statistics II, Modern Algebra, and Introduction to Mathematical Modeling.
The exams require 90 minutes and are taken during one of the following timeslots (Spring 2014)
Mondays: 2:30pm - 4:00pm in HH309 with Dr. Zachary Kudlak (email@example.com)
Tuesdays: 2:00pm - 3:30pm in HH308 with Dr. Betty Liu (firstname.lastname@example.org) (not on 4/29/14)
Wednesdays: 10:00am - 11:30am in HH308 with Dr. Susan Marshall (email@example.com)
Wednesdays: 1:00pm - 2:30pm in HH308 with Dr. Bonnie Gold (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Fridays: 11:30am - 1:00pm in HH308 with Dr. Emanuel Palsu-Andriescu (email@example.com)
Please e-mail the faculty member who is proctoring the exam no less than 24 hours before you sit for the exam.
If you are late for an exam, it is the discretion of the faculty member as to whether you may take the exam during the scheduled period.
