MONMOUTH WOMEN’S LINKSTERS WIN QUAD MATCH
Hawks topple Wagner, Fairfield and Siena at SunEagles
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth University registered a quad-match victory as the Hawks bested Fairfield, Siena and Wagner in women’s collegiate golf action on Wednesday afternoon at SunEagles in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.
The Hawks carded a 376 on the day to beat out the Seahawks (387), Saints (395) and Stags (400).
Monmouth’s Stephanie Coughlin and Wagner’s Jessica Rickert each shot 88 to share medalist honors for the day. The Hawks’ Jaclyn Lucas was one stroke back at 89.
Siena was led by Nancy Padula with a 95 and Anne Pino paced Fairfield with a 96.
The Hawks return to action on Thursday, April 19 as they host Hofstra, Lehigh and Sacred Heart in a 1 p.m. match at SunEagles.
