MONMOUTH WOMEN’S GOLF VICTORIOUS AT TRIANGULAR MEET

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth University women’s golf team notched a pair of victories over Hofstra University and Wagner College at Sun Eagles in Fort Monmouth, N.J., Thursday afternoon.

The Hawks finished 2-0 on the afternoon as they shot a 333. Wagner finished second with a 339 and Hofstra fired a 367. It was the first dual meet of the season for the Hawks.

Jaclyn Lucas, who carded an 81 for the day to earn medalist honors, paced Monmouth. Shenoa Vild was the next Hawk on the leaderboard with an 83. Stephanie Coughlin posted an 84 and Meghan Henning logged an 85 to round out the Hawks foursome.
