MONMOUTH LADY GOLFERS FINISH SEVENTH AT PRINCETON INVITATIONAL
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth University women’s golf team fired a 358 Saturday and a 340 Sunday to finish in seventh place at the Prinecton Invitational.
Jaclyn Lucas (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) paced the Hawks with a two-round score of 21-over-par, 165. Teammate Stephanie Coughlin (Rutherford, N.J./Immaculate Heart) fired a pair of 83s and finished at 22-over-par, 166.
Shenoa Vild (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) was next on the leaderboard with a two-round tally of 23-over-par, 167. She posted the Hawks’ low-round on Sunday with an 8-over-par, 79.
Meghan Henning (Long Valley, N.J.) and Valerie Centanni (Long Branch, N.J./St. John Vianney) rounded out the Monmouth fivesome with scores of 202 and 213, respectively.
The golf team is back in action Friday and Saturday when the participate
in the Rutgers Invitational in Piscataway, N.J.
