MONMOUTH MEN’S TENNIS DROPS ROAD MATCH AT LAFAYETTE
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth University’s men’s tennis team suffered its first loss of the season as it dropped a 5-1 one decision at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa., on Wednesday.
Brian Connolly won at No. 5 singles for Monmouth (1-1), 1-6, 6-4, 7-6. The doubles tandem of Chad Long and Ali Gilak were victorious at No. 1 doubles, 8-3.
The Hawks continue their fall schedule on Sunday as they host Fairleigh
Dickinson and Wagner in a pair of matches at the MU Tennis Complex.
