MONMOUTH LOSES 5-2 AT ROBERT MORRIS
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decison to Robert Morris Sunday afternoon in Moon Township, Pa.
Monmouth was led by Chris Doyle and Stephen Barlow who each recorded victories in singles action. Doyle defeated Leo Vighetti, 6-7, 7-6, 10-8 at No. 5 singles. Barlow was leading Web Yeardie, 7-6, 3-2 before he retired.
The loss dropped Monmouth to 5-4 for the 200-01 season and 2-2 in Northeast Conference play.
Monmouth continues its schedule on March 22 when the Hawks travel to
Connecticut for a contest at Fairfield.
