Welcome to Counseling and Psychological Services
The Department of Counseling and Psychological Services provides free and confidential psychological counseling to Monmouth University students on a “first come, first serve” basis. The professional staff offers counseling support to students confronting personal issues including:
- Anxiety and Panic
- Bereavement
- Depression
- Emotional Crises
- Family Problems
- General Mental Health
- Identity Issues
- Interpersonal Conflicts
- Poor Academic Performance
- Rape and Sexual Assault
- Stress Management
Counseling and Psychological Services coordinates a number of psychoeducational programs throughout the year, and 24-hour hotlines for mental health crises afford emergency assistance both on and off-campus.
Students interested in counseling support are encouraged to make an appointment with a psychological counselor at the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services, located on the third floor of the Rebecca Stafford Student Center.
