• Student Billing Information and Payment Options

After a student completes registration and prior to each semester, the student will receive a bill with a due date. The fall semester bill is due in early August, and the spring semester bill is due in early December. Check the Bursar's Office Web site for exact dates.

The student’s estimated financial aid, established payment plan (see details below), and any deposits or payments will be shown on the bill and deducted from the University charges. University charges include: tuition, room and board, orientation, labs, and comprehensive fees. Any balance remaining is payable by the due date indicated on the bill. During the academic year, statements of the student’s account will be mailed to the home address. Students can also access their account information online.

Payments can be made as follows:

    • Checks, money orders, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) are accepted for payment in person, online by electronic check or credit card, and via mail.
    • Cash and debit cards are also accepted but only when paying in person.

In order to help meet the costs of attendance, Monmouth University offers the following payment-plan options:

Tuition Management Systems: This plan offers an interest-free, pre-payment arrangement for both full-time and part-time students. Payments may be made by a pre-authorized monthly debit to your checking account, or you may choose to be billed monthly and pay by check.

    • For annual costs of attendance, options include a 12-, 10-, or eight- month payment schedule. Payment start dates are April 1, for the 12-month plan, June 1 for the 10-month plan and August 1 for the eight-month plan. The annual application fee is $65. Life insurance is included at no additional cost.
    • If you have questions or would like to make payment plan arrangements over the telephone, you may contact Tuition Management Systems at 800-722-4867.
    • You may also sign up via the Web at www.afford.com.

REGARDLESS OF WHICH METHOD OF PAYMENT IS CHOSEN, FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE FINALIZED BY THE BILLING DATE OR CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION WILL OCCUR.
