Hawkmail: Monmouth’s Student E-Mail System
Every registered student is given an account on the Hawkmail student electronic mail (e-mail) system. The format of a student’s login is the letter "s" followed by the student’s ID number. For example; Jane Smith, with student ID number 0123456, has an e-mail address of s0123456@monmouth.edu.
With Web-based registration and records systems, it becomes increasingly important for offices to guarantee the authenticity of e-mails they receive from students. For this reason, University offices have been advised to respond only to requests that come from Hawkmail accounts. In addition, University administrative offices and faculty departments routinely send information to students via these accounts.
Students, therefore, should use their Monmouth University e-mail accounts regularly to communicate with and check for communications from University offices and departments.
Hawkmail e-mail accounts are accessible from on- or off-campus locations. Information regarding access to your Hawkmail account will be sent to you after you submit your enrollment deposit for the fall semester.
