Magill Commons Residential Restaurant

This dining facility is open seven days a week and is the primary dining spot for resident students. The dining hall offers nutritional classic courses, breakfast, vegetarian dishes, homemade American entrees, grilled sandwiches, an extensive salad bar, New York–style deli station, soup bar, special dinners, and a lot more. And it is all-you-can-eat! The serving hours during weekdays are as follows:

Monday - Friday:

Breakfast: 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Continental Breakfast: 10:30 to 11 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 4:15 to 8 p.m., Fri: 4:15 to 7 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday:

Brunch: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Light Lunch: 2 to 4 p.m.
Dinner: 4 to 7 p.m.

Express Lunch

Meals to go. Open any hours that Magill Commons is open

Designed for the student on the go, you will be given a disposable container and 15 minutes to choose any selection from the dining area or a salad or sandwich from the refrigerated case in exchange for a block meal.

Food Court

Options include the Salad Garden, Grille Works, Montague's Deli, Tortilla Fresca, Fusion, Béné Pizzeria, Go Wasabi Sushi, and Seattle's Best Coffee.

Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Convenience @ Bey Hall

This dining area is conveniently located on the first floor of Bey Hall and is designed for the student on the run. The café features:

Freshly brewed coffee
Freshly baked muffins, bagels, pastries, assorted candy, gum, chips, and snacks
Montague’s Deli Signature Sandwiches
Pre-made salads
Variety of juices, teas, and sodas
Chicken Noodle Soup and chili (available in the winter months)

Einstein Bros. Bagels

This popular franchise is located in the lobby of the Plangere Center. Convenience for those on the go:

Freshly baked bagels, muffins, and cinnamon rolls
Chicago bagel dogs
Freshly made sandwiches
Pre-made salads
Yogurt parfaits and fruit cups
Piping hot coffee

Convenience Store

Located on the first floor of the Student Center, next to the elevator. “Convenience, Convenience, Convenience.” Make sure you stop by. The convenience store is packed with everything from snacks and beverages to frozen foods and cleaning supplies! Our product selection is guaranteed to save you a trip to the local grocery store.

Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, 12 to 5 p.m.
Sunday, 12 to 8 p.m.

Café @ the Library

Located on the first floor of the Monmouth University Library on the North Campus, this is the place to grab a cup of coffee, a latte, a snack and a good book! Take a study break and visit.

Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Java City

Located on the first floor of the Student Center next to the Café. The Java City franchise is proud to offer Eco-Grounds fair trade coffee, along with all of your favorite specialty coffee and espresso drinks. Keep an eye out for seasonal featured drinks every month! Also enjoy a delicious treat from our pastry case, baked fresh daily, or a Freshëns Smoothie, made with real fruit!

Shadows

Located at Elmwood Hall, Shadows (formerly known as the Underground) now offers a wide variety of foods for those with an extreme case of the late night munchies! Our menu includes fresh tossed pizzas, Gull Wings with over 11 different sauces to choose from, Big Khuana Burgers, and out famous PHAT (Pretty Hot and Tempting) Sandwiches.
