Thanks for reading our Content Manager Newsletter! This e-mail is going to all content managers at Monmouth who are responsible for enhancing and maintaining MU Web site content. If you missed our last newsletter, you can check it out here.

REMINDER: As part of our Web site redesign project, we ask that you complete large-scale, in-progress projects this month. New large-scale projects may be requested again once the new MU site launches in mid-summer.

Understand the difference between submitting and checking in your content.

When you're ready to publish your page, hit the Submit button. It will then be sent to Enrollment Publications, and when approved, will be published to the live site. Hit the Checkin button when you want to save your changes and come back to your page later. This will NOT publish your page.

And don't forget your metadata! Make sure each page minimally has a banner and menu.

Before submitting an HTML page, check the Metadata tab to see that it has a banner (the department/office title) and menu (the list of links). This metadata appears on the left side of every MU Web page. Need to add metadata? See how in this short video.
