OVERWRITING A FILE IN THE EKTRON LIBRARY

  1. Open up the Library in Ektron by clicking "Library" at the top (next to "Content").
  2. On the left, open the folder that contains your file or image.
  3. In the drop-down menu at the top, choose "Images" or "Files," depending on which one you're looking to overwrite.
  4. Click on the name of the file or image you'd like to replace.
  5. At the top, hit the Overwrite button; it looks like a piece of paper with a lightning bolt.
  6. In the field that says "Please select a replacement file," click the Browse button. In the menu that appears, find your new file or image and hit Open. That file name should now appear in the "...replacement file" field.
  7. Hit the Update button at the top. A WARNING box will appear asking you to confirm the action. If you're sure, just click OK.
  8. Your new file or image will now automatically take the place of the old file or image everywhere on the Monmouth Web site.
