Faculty Resource Center
Welcome to the Faculty Resource Center at Monmouth University! The Faculty Resource Center opened its doors in October of 2002, and since that time has presented countless workshops, consultations, and training sessions that have benefited many of Monmouth University’s faculty. The Faculty Resource Center is an area and dedicated staff exclusively for faculty use in the development and preparation of online course materials. Our goals are to provide instructional support to faculty, aid in the integration of technology into the classroom, and to provide a forum for consultation, discussion and sharing of ideas.
Keeping pace with changes in technology and academia are important considerations for the Center. As technological innovation advances, the FRC will continue to introduce new instructional technologies to the faculty. During 2006, the Faculty Resource Center implemented the “FRC Drop-In Session,” which runs four times a week, both morning and afternoon, wherein a faculty member can “drop-in” and work with an Instructional Designer on any aspect of instructional technology they wish. Please peruse our web pages to discover the many services that we offer. We look forward to meeting, assisting and collaborating with more and more faculty over the years!
