About:

Among other honors, Professor Febos is the recipient of three MacDowell Colony fellowships, a 2014 Virginia Center for Creative Arts fellowship, a 2013 Barbara Deming Memorial Artist Grant, and the 2013 Prairie Schooner Creative Nonfiction Prize. She is finishing her second book of creative nonfiction, and has previously taught at Sarah Lawrence College, NYU, The New School, and The Institute of American Indian Arts.​

Research Interests:

Specialty is creative nonfiction, with additional interests in fiction, poetry, contemporary American literature, and women's studies.
